Thank you so much for one of the best "door openers" for evangelizing. I carry some of the Cross Pennies in with my regular change. When I am paying for purchases I now pull out a small handful of change, and slowly count out what is needed. Often the cashier, or someone nearby, will ask what the Cross Penny is? Bingo!!! If they do not ask, the CP reminds me to ask them if they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and if they say yes, that opens the door for telling them that there is nothing magical about the CP, but that it is a great reminder of the price Jesus paid for all of us, and that it is also a terrific witnessing tool. If they say they have not yet accepted Jesus, there is another opportunity to lift Him up.
